Click Here for Women in Business: Is the World Flat? Emerging Paradigms in Business Leadership

Host Roxanne Neilson speaks with Dr. Beverly Carter, a self-styled "corporate physician", as she hones in on the shifting landscape that women face in the corporate world. Clearly women's participation in leadership roles in corporate governance, and at all levels, positively influence corporate culture and helps business to be more adaptable to the changes in the economy. How companies change and shift organizational priorities is really what piques Dr. Carter's interest http://www.refractivethinker.com/authors.php?author=32 Her research on the workplace and women in leadership roles was supported in part by data she collected as a doctoral candidate interviewing Zonta members. We think that these principals of innovative leadership have implications for our organization at the club level. Dr Carter states, " Zonta members should practice shared mastery in their clubs; ask each new member what their professional goals are and what their goals for the club are, then work together as a club to achieve them" Dr. Carter's mom Shirley Carter is a past president of the Zonta Club of Westchester. http://www.zontawestchesterny.org/
