Tune in to this month's edition of Zonta Women's Community Radio Project and catch the program live from 11:30am-12:00pm EST on http://www.wvox.com/ as we talk about the importance of giving girls the opportunity to do hands-on science activities outside of the classroom and how the Zonta Club of New Rochelle organized and delivered over 12 full days of programming to over 25 girls this year.


In studio today is Kaya Thomas, and Hanna Rosner-Katz. Ms. Thomas our New Rochelle High School rising Sophmore has been Zonta Club of New Rochelle Science Student Coordinator and science mentor for both both the Winter and Summer 2010 Science Camp Programs. Ms. Rosner-Katz a rising senior at New Rochelle High School particpated as a science mentor in our Winter Science Camp.


Nancy Caswell, a science educator from Cornell Cooperative Externsion calls in to give us the ways and means of the Wonderwise program, and how others can tailor science programs for youth in their communities.


Stefanie Wallace, recent graduate of Haverford College and contributing writer for this month's broadcast shares her angst about the job market.


Girl Scout Troop #2981 ( 8 to 11 year olds) of New Rochelle NY airs their PSA on the environment and their local action to keep the beaches clean and raise awareness in their own community.
