"Focus on The Homeless: Invisibility of Homeless Women and Children," hosted by Roxanne Neilson zeros in on homelessness amid plenty. The increasing levels of poverty in the suburbs, and the women and children in our own communities who are affected. The Zonta News Feature for this second show is "Zonta Birthing Kits, Zonta Club of Adelaide Hills, Australia," and is presented by Program Intern Vanessa Kemp, of Marymount College. The Homeless segment guests include: Demetrius Moyston, Program Director for Choice of New Rochelle, a homeless outreach program; Sister Mary Alice Hannan OP (Zonta member), Executive Director of POTS homeless shelter in the Bronx and founder of Desda's Gate, a home for homeless women and children who are pursuing academic and employment goals.
